Two blind persons wanted to drink water at the RagiGudda temple, Bangalore. When they were unable to operate the tap, this mother monkey opened the tap for them, allowed them to drink water, drank some water herself and then closed the tap before leaving the scene.

OM NAMO VENKATESAYA NAMAHA !!!

Filed under:
Dr. Reddy Wrotes,

It has been an overwhelming experience during the KALYANOTSAVAM and the responce from all the devotees who attended the 2 day long festival was simply awesome !!

Before I dare say anything , the whole credit for the function goes to nobody except the LORD VENKATESWARA himself. Who else can control the powers of nature , in stopping the rain at exactly the right time for the RATHOTSAVAM , -it can only be the LORD ! Who can motivate so many sponsors and volunteers who poured out their hearts either in donating funds or organizing and volunteering for hundreds of things that needed to be taken care of ! It can only be HIM ! We are all just instrumental in whatever has happened during the festival.

But it does not mean that we dont appreciate what everybody has done to make the festival so splendid. We are after all human and we do take pride in what we do !

Firstly our gratitude goes to the team of priests and members of BHCT without whose help and presence this festival would not have happened at all. We need their support and love in whatever spiritual programmes we may undertake in the future. As we all can see, the most important part of the festival is the KALYANAM itself and the POOJA committee made sure that everything went on smoothly with precision.

Then we must thank all those sponsors who were so generous with their donations. Whatever we might say, we do need money to organize events like this and we must thank the LORD for motivating all of them to be so generous !!

All the organizers and their committees had worked with utmost committment and ownership which made the differnce - and led to the success of this festival. Everyone who volunteered their services to the LORD are blessed by HIM and nobody else has any right to take the credit for that.

Then there are those volunteers who are most blessed - those whose work was mainly unnoticed - working in the kitchen, in the dining hall, in decorating the hall, providing security, making sure that things are running smoothly, running aroung for errands when everyone else was engrossed in the proceedings.

One big difference this time is the content and quality of the devotional songs and classical dances which kept the devotees spellbound during the coure of the festival. We cannot thank enough all those artists who displayed such talent - of cource in the service of the LORD !

We need to appreciate the efforts of all those who were responsible in bringing them together on to one stage - special thanks to Sri Puven Pillay, Sri Ravi, Sri Seelan and their orchestra for their contributions.

The teams that were involved in the decoration were simply dedicated and it showed itself .

It is possible that some services might have gone unnoticed and organizers would like to offer their humble apologies to those concerned, and take this opportunity to thank them with all due respect.

It is the sincere hope of the organizers of INDIA CARES that more volunteers/ members would join and contribute generously so that we could continue our good work and be of significant help to the community around us.

Last but not the least, myself and Revathi would like to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to all of you for showing so much love and affection. that gave us the strength during this festival.

GOD BLESS YOU !!!
RAJANI KANTH REDDY
